A side hustle that turned into a shop.
Adam Van Hout started cutting hair in high school, giving friends haircuts as a hobby. Friends turned into more and more clients, and barbering stayed his side hustle until he decided to get licensed in 2018.
He opened A+ Cuts in January 2020. He had always wanted a shop of his own, a place to run things his way.
The shop is on Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton. Come in for your usual or bring a photo of something new. Each barber has their own style, so find the one who gets your hair and stick with them.
